In-Service Schedule for 2007
It is with great pleasure to announce that Nursing Resources is now a provider for Continuing Education Units for Registered Nurses and Licensed Vocational Nurses.
The first presentation is titled:
The Accreditation Process And Its Importance In the Public’s Perception of Health Care As Well As That Perception In the Profession of Nursing Resources
The confidence in the health care system, that will make a difference in our lives, is many times dependent on the perception of the quality of care that is provided by the health care system and its entities. The volunteer submission of a health care provider to the accreditation process, conducted by an independent, non- governmental organization is an indicator in itself of the intense desire of that provider to offer the very best quality health care possible. This accreditation process and its successful completion means that the provider has taken all the steps possible to ensure that what is offered to the public has been given the "Seal of Approval". It also provides an opportunity for well qualified nurses to work in an organization that takes pride in outstanding standards which values its professionals. The steps through this process are focused on all aspects of the organization including the administration, policies and procedures, professional ethics, nursing and care giving staff, human resources, finance and community services. The accreditation process is intense but is well worth the effort in the public’s perception as well as the perception in the world of nursing.
