Skilled Nursing and other Services
Does Your Facility Need Nurses?
Nursing Resources is also a nurses' registry. We offer a variety of services
ranging from skilled nursing taking care of your facility's patients with
helping them with their medications, assessments, and teaching as well as
CNA's and/or PCA's to help your patients with personal needs as
companions, bathing, etc. This can be on an "as needed" basis. We can
also arrange for long-term placement of nurses. We know that your business
can be cyclical; therefore your staffing needs will be cyclical. We can help
you staff during those times when you need that additional staff. Work with
us and we will actively look to anticipate such needs and recruit
accordingly.
Nursing Resources Home Care Nursing Programs
Our skilled nursing home care programs are conducted by highly trained,
experienced and licensed home care nurses who have only one thing in mind
and that is to take care of our patients in a home care setting. They are in
constant communication with Nursing Resources' Staffing Coordinators and the
health care or hospital Case or Care Managers to devise the best possible
care for their patients. They are courteous, professional, prompt, and well
trained. The home care programs provided by Nursing Resources include the
following:
Nursing Resources Pediatric Home Care Nursing Program
Nursing Resources pediatric nurses have a long history of taking care of
pediatric patients in a home environment. They are well trained in and
up-to-date with pediatric assessments, the dynamics of family life, and the
environment the patient is in. Our nurses conduct some of the most
challenging developmental and rehabilitation therapies with assistance from
the patients' parents, family and even the school administrators.
We offer a wide range of pediatric capabilities including:
- Long-term skilled nursing for medically complex and technology-dependent
children,
- Rehabilitation and developmental therapies,
- Asthma management,
- Pain management and respite care, and,
- Ventilator therapies.
Nursing Resources Home Ventilator Care Nursing Program
This is an area which Nursing Resources has substantial experience just by
the sheer number of such cases. Linda Elias, Nursing Resources' Director of
Clinical Nursing is a well-recognized and published registered nurse in the
motor neuron diseases, such as ALS, MS, and congenital deformities requiring
ventilator assistance. Our skilled nursing staff is required to maintain
their up-to-date knowledge in the advances made in this field along with the
equipment used in ventilation cases by taking a minimum of 7 CEU per year.
Our on call staff is knowledgeable on these cases and the equipment details
so that they can help the patient and the nurse in case of emergencies.
Nursing Resources Wound Care Program
Home health care is much cheaper than hospital care and especially in wound
care cases, the technological advances made enable nurses to heal the wounds
at home. Coupled with the fact that the trend in the hospital business is
that patients are discharged sooner makes this field a core business for
Nursing Resources. Our wound care specialists are experienced registered
nurses, which are required to maintain at least 7 CEU in
wound care education from the local excellent universities and hospitals.
They are experienced in surgical wounds, decubitus (bed sore) and other
wounds.
Nursing Resources Skilled Nursing Assessments
As the US population ages, there will be a greater number of Americans
who will be needing assistance with their lives. For the long-term care
insurance to pay for the benefits, it is customary for the patient to be
assessed by skilled nursing to explore the best alternative lifestyle and
the setting. Nursing Resources can provide such a service.
